Alacam Amethyst

Big things sometimes come in small packages! These beautiful small specimens are from the Alacam Mine in the Balıkesir Province, Turkey. Amethyst from this region features small, prismatic crystals with a glassy luster. Colors range from light lavender to deep "grape jelly" purple.
